If you're using TMPGEnc, go to Setting, Advanced tab and double click on Simple color correction to access Brightness controls (can also double click Custom color correction and press ADD).

thanks, i'll try this.
i also was searching around and i found something about XVCD and SVCD and i read that the quality video/audio of the final cd burn is better when played on a dvd (i checked and my dvd supports both). do you know if the quality is much better? i'm looking for the best quality possible (altough i'm trying to burn all in one cd and i know the quality is a little lower because of that).
thanks agaiN!
take care. -
I would advise you to read the section in the upper left corner of this page called WHAT IS VCD, SVCD. In general - SVCD is of better quality than VCD, XVCD is a non-standard VCD and the settings can be adjusted as you like (so it can be both of better or worse quality than VCD and/or SVCD depending on settings you choose). The better quality the less you can fit on 1 CDR/RW.
