    can I watch MPEG2 media on my computer? I dont have a dvd drive and and WMP doesnt recognize the file.

    Sure, you need to download a software DVD player like PowerDVD or WinDVD. You could also download a Mpeg2 plug-in for your WMP that will allow you to play Mpeg2. You'll find this plug-in in the Tools section.
