Going nuts, I have tried using TMPgenc and different settings close to 40 times in converting an avi to a vcdfile. As long as I use the wizard I can get the picture to come up on my tv ok, but as soon as I try to use the manual settings the picture gets shown on the upper part of my tv with the top part being cut off. I have a 23.976 ntsc in widescreen format sourcefile, I want to convert it to a PAL widescreen. I have tried different videoarrange methods but it does not seem to matter. In fact, have tried manually copying all the settings to be the same as when I use the wizard but I still get the same problem. Can anyone help?

I'm facing the same problem too only that on my TV, the left and right sides are way off from the screen. Can it be the PAL or NTSC thingy?

I have tried NTSC and Pal settings in all combinations I can think off but it still doesnt change the fact that every time i try to do things manually the picture gets screwed up. What is the magic setting in the wizard that resolves this? I have tried to manullay do the same settings as the wizard but it still gets screwed up. Now the file always look ok on the computer so I am wondering if it is the tv but on the other hand other VCD's seem to play fine?
