is it possible to burn folders with different icons onto CD?

for instance a SNES cartridge icon for the folder that holds the snes roms
and a NES cartridge icon for the NES roms

Yeh, just create the desktop.ini file for each folder and burn it and the icon you wish to use.

Just do a test CD now if you are still concerned, using a CD-RW or CD-R (cheap as right now)

all yesturday I tried this with no successs
(good thing I bought some rewritables)
must have tried more then 20 times
each time I modified the desktop.ini a little bit different

IconFile=IconFile=%SystemRoot%\ROMs\Nintendo Entertainment System\NES.ico
IconIndex=0
this was one of the last ones
I tried it with a generic path and the icon was in the directory
I may mess with it somemore today if I have time
I was not successfull at all
