  1. hiya!!
    it's very annoying to have a clip not in sync after you have encoded for such a long time.
    i'm using TMPGenc and can i check that in the source range before i start that??

    and.....can i start encoding a clip from the middle without doing any cutting in advance??

    i'll be glad if you genius can drop me a few lines.

    Look under the advanced tab in the TMPEGnc settings and you can pick the source frame (which I use to trim)

    You should be able to view your source .AVI file with Windows Media Player. If your .AVI file has no audio then you can use VirtualDub and select the .WAV file as your source but that sometimes doesn't work because Virtualdub doesn't work fast enough. Virtualdub can't properly play .AVI files that Windows Media Player can.

  4. and a lil advice, always just encode a few minsutes worth of mpg first..then stop it, check the mpg to make sure everything is how you want...THEN encode all the way through
