  1. Converting from divx to svcd.I choose 2passvbr and got videobitrate 1762kb/s to fit on 1cd 80min.The audio is in 224kb/s and everything looks ok but after 50%encoding i got an error "not enough memory"...What's wrong .....

  2. If you are using the "Multipass" method it stores the info from the passes in the system cache.
    Needs lots of HD space

    Just out of curiosity, are you frame serving with VirtualDub?
    i had the same problem when frame serving..
    works fine if i just drop the avi in TMPGenc tho..

    I use 2pass VBR and yes i have only 1,5G in harddisk left so you may be right.....I'll try it again with more disk space ..Thanks .

    And yes i do frameserve to tmpg cause i'm adding subs to the movie..
