  1. OK. I don't think this was happening before and I'm not sure what happened.

Mods....if this is the wrong spot please move this.

I did a capture @352x480 using picvideo mjpeg set to 19 with v-dub. Tried to load the cap into v-dub via AVISynth when I was done and it crashed bigtime. no warning or error just up and disappeared from my screen. I don't have this problem using AVISynth when I cap with either morgan mjpeg or huffy which are the others I use the most. I can't quite remember if I tried this before and it worked.....seems to me that I did. Anyone else have a problem like this? Or know a workaround? Thanks!!

  2. Had some similiar problem with PicVideo MJPG. VirtualDub couldn't find codec instead of crashing, although captures play well on WM player. Solution: select PicVideo MJPEG as the primary MJPEG codec and check "Enable Codec" box when you press the configuration button. Seems to be working all right after that. But I rarely use MJPEG codec, so my memory might serve me wrong.

  3. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

I feel like a dumbass now. After you said that I remember some warning that I got when I re-installed both picvideo and mjpeg. Can't remember exactly what it was, but very similar to what you're saying. Thanks man!!!!
