I am new to this whole process of making vcd's but i will try to explain where I am at, I downloaded tmpgenc to encode with. I can't seem to get avi's to encode (no preview screen) so i down loaded virtual dub to open avi's and frame serve to tmpgenc. what i did was open file go to video click on, click compression ,click the codec "divx low motion mpg4"then I click ok. go to audio, click compress I think I clicked on avi for codec click 16 for rate "stereo" then click ok, window would close. On the arrows on the bottom I would manually keep clicking the advance "key" arrow till I got to the end then I would go to file open it up and frame serve it. I then went to tmpgenc on the file and go threw the set up and it encoded it preview screen would run I thought I had it till I burned it and played it on my dvd player it sounded terrible and did not look so good either what should i do. or not do could some on find me a link which would tell me all about virtual dub how to use guide or tell me what I should do![]()
