Hi,
I am looking into getting the Panasonic DMR-HS2 or somehting similar. My main aim in this is to get all the tapes I have onto DVD, and then be able to perform some editing on it so I can get 2 min clips in a format viawable in most PC viewers. (Ofcourse using the computer and ripping/edidting software) I also want to be able to get the DVDs back onto tape. This seems possible with the DMR-HS2 and some other DVD video recoders.
Now to my question... I live in Sweden, and I have a PAL VCR that can play back (NOT convert) NTSC tapes so I can watch them on a swedish telly. Now, will that work if I want to burn a NTSC tape using my PAL VCR and the DVD burner. Acccording to the manual input from PAL and NTSC VCRs are ok, but says nothing of NTSC tapes played on a PAL VCR.
Any thought?
Thanks
