  1. I tried to convert a Vob to VCD pal(preset). But i only recieve an m1v bin.(without audio I think). And the message that there will be no audio ?!?
Does anyone know wich option I have to check/uncheck??

  2. You should post your terminal output, so as we can try to help you.

  3. OK
    Preset is MOV,VOB or DIvx -> VCD(pal)
Here is what the terminal says:

mpeg2dec-0.2.1 - by Michel Lespinasse <walken@zoy.org> and Aaron Holtzman
    Using altivec for IDCT transform
    Using altivec for motion compensation
INFO: [yuvscaler] yuvscaler (version 1.7.0) is a general scaling utility for yuv frames
    INFO: [yuvscaler] (C) 2001-2002 Xavier Biquard <xbiquard@free.fr>
INFO: [yuvscaler] yuvscaler -h for help, or man yuvscaler
    Frame rate code = 116111
    MPEG in libvo = 82224 aspect_code=83496

The result is .m1v! and no audio!!

  4. Choose the audio track number in the "track" dropdown menu of the audio tab, according to which track you've extracted in the VOB.

  5. That`s what I tried first. The terminal ALWAYS shows this after encoding:

0 frames decoded in 0.00 seconds (0.00 fps)
    **ERROR: EOF in WAV header
    **ERROR: failure reading WAV file
    INFO: [mplex] mplex version 2.2.1 ($Date: 2002/04/20 19:08:30 $)
INFO: [mplex] File /Volumes/40 Gig/I/I_G.mpg.m1v looks like an MPEG Video stream.
**ERROR: [mplex] Unable to open file /Volumes/40 Gig/I/Ie_G.mpg.mp2 for reading.

I had never demuxed the VOB-stream before using ffmpeg.
    Why does ffmpeg seams so?

  6. This error usually happens when selecting the wrong audio track number.

Have you checked off all other tracks and the subtitle tracks in OSEx? If you try to start encoding this VOB to DivX what ffmpegX says about the streams available in the input file?

  7. That`s what I checked first.I also tried to work with a file which is running
with ffmped (version d) some weeks ago and I get the same message.

  8. Do you only get this error with one particular VOB? Are you sure the audio track is in AC3 format?
