  1. Hi

    I'm having a problem converting a xvid film, the xvid codecs are installed. I've run the film through nan dub second stream made wav file.
    I've opened tmpg brought the film\wav file in and keep getting the same
    message;
    write error occured at address 77f5215c of module "ntdll.dll with 00000000. if I ignore this and press start the banner appears.

    Any body got any ideas

    I went througth the procedures that was on the link but I'm still having a problem. I set the priority on the plug-ins, loaded the film into tmpg and it started converting. The film ran about half way through and stopped but all the audio was there. Have you got any more ideas?

    Make sure you have the latest binary of the Xvid codec since it's constantly under development causing some incompatabilties if you have an earlier version. If after trying this and you still can't get it to work after following 0 kewl's guide I suggest frameserving it thru VirtualDub. I'm not going to go into much detail on this point since there is an excellent guide in the How-To section.

    See above....before trying Frameserving though (after trying a newer version of XviD codec, of course), i would advise to check your XviD AVI for bad frames in Virtual Dub. If that solves it (removing bad frames if any) - great. Otherwise follow the link i've just provided. Good Luck.
