Ive just tried capturing video for the first time. Ive captured from pal vhs with geforce 4 in virtual dub with picvideo mjpeg. The thing is when there is motion in the video, i get these lines:Is there anything i can do about this?

This is totally normal.
The effect is known as interlacing. You now have two options.
1, encode as interlaced ( I prefer this one personally )
2, deinterlace and encode progressive.
If you do a search on the forums you will find many posts on this effect and the pros and cons of each encode method.

I have a question here. I record just as it is with the interlacing then I use teliced when I do avitsvcd is this a good or bad method?
