Can anybody help me. I recently tried to convert some MPEG files to VCD using Nero and have the following problems:
After conversion, one of the file appears to have only the audio remaining and the video was lost.
Another file was playing fine in the beginning but the audio was lost half way through the file but the video remains OK.
During the initial conversion, it keeps saying that the MPEG files require re-encoding and it took almost two hours to complete one single CD.
Does anybody has similar problem and how to solve it. Thanks.

I would strongly advise using a 3rd party encoder. TMPGEnc is the most popular and due to the fact that you can control the settings (unlike the auto-encoder in Nero) your output file should be of better overall quality.
I presume you have checked that the source file has audio all the way through it.
