    OK When accesssing nero to copy the avi file, it processes but stops in 59% n freezes. y is that? do I have bad clusters in the avi or bad video type?

    also which program that is freeware but yet good 2 switch between avi into mpeg faster??

    I would recommend trying out TMPGEnc (most popular here) and available in the Tools section of this website. There are faster encoders on the market, but they cost!!!
