hm.. on dvddecrypter and nero and other programs, i've had trouble trying to get my dru500a's speeds recognized.. e.g. dvddecrypter will rip at 2x.. is this normal?

sorry i was thinking you was talking about burning. my sony burnier won't let me rip dvds always get a error i have tried smart ripper and dvd decrypter and a few other ones. so i have been useing my dvd rom drive and it works fine. not sure why i can't rip useing my sony dvd burner
