Hi,
I run a WinTV PVR 250 and want to cap some tapes. The tapes I want to cap are NTSC copies and I have a PAL card but a VCR that outputs NTSC and PAL. However, I can cap fine with the tapes I record myself off of the TV, but the tapes I want to cap have REALLY bad tracking and I cannot get a stable picture on it. They run fine through my TV, but not through the TV card.
What I want to know is there anything I can do to improve this? I figured I need to buy a new VCR but will that actually help? I mean could it be that these are NTSC tapes and this is what happens when you run NTSC tapes through a PAL card?
All advice here is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
