  1. I have some tv shows I want to convert to mpg from avi, they are only 20 minutes each, is it possible to put more than one on each disc?
    And if so how?
I use nero to burn the vcds.

Quick answer.. drop them in Nero, and it will convert them for you.. and yes you can have more then one.
Nero isnt a very good encoder, as im sure someone will reiterate.. (they always do)

Better answer.. Convert them with TMPGenc.. then burn with Nero 8)

  3. I plan on encoding with TMPG but after they are encoded do I just drag them over in nero and make a list of what i want to burn on each disc?
When burning will there be a gap between the different programs when I play the vcd back on my dvd player?

Yep, just dragging them in will work.. As for the gap, you can specify that in Nero.. from 0 secs up

  5. Even when set to "0", I find that there is a noticable pause between tracks (MPEGs). But, this is only from trying three different DVD players.

  6. Even when you set the gap time to "0", there will still be a small gap.
