Okay i guess i am a bafoon or something but this is not working for me at all i do everything the guide tells me put all the setting that the guide says and when i hit teh encode button it gives me an error and shuts down. I am getting annoyed with all these rippers cause nothing is working. smart ripper and all that worked good but i dont have that much room on my hard drive to use them so this is really the only one i know about to use and its not working if anybody can help please i bed u ive spen tover 2 weekes trying to rip my dvd and geting very annoyed. Thanks....

Bob, unfortunatly the guide was written for DVDx v1.1, and i've not yet updated it, mostly because you can find a much better guide on the DVDx homepage http://www.inet.hr/%7Emirebic/dvdx-guide/Index.htm
try following the updated guide for v1.2, and if you still need help, let us know.

alright i am oficially giving up unless someone knows what to do dvdx will just not run for me its gives me an error everytime i hit the encode button say when i look at details for it, it says there was a stack dump blah blah blah.....please i hope someone knows what to do also does that link for the smartripper still work cause i am just gonna download that and wait for more hard drive space till i can start ripping... thanks

Please remember that DVDx is a new program and it will contain bugs, if you can't use it, try using DVD2MPG Squeezer, FlaskMPEG, or DVD2AVI methods instead.
