Dose anybody know were i can buy the new sony drive (500a).
I don`t trust buying over the internet.
So i need to know which high street shops sock them.
If anybody can answer this for me I would be truly grateful.
I carn`t wait to burn my home movies on dvd disc useing my new pinnacles 8 software.this drive has been a long time coming

Not available in the UK until the end of November, but given the delivery problems in the US we'll probably see it in the new year.

No doubt PC world will stock it but will also whack a hefty premium on it.

Is Stoke near to you? I'm sure that Overclockers (www.overclockers.co.uk) will have it when it comes out, and they also have a walk in store.

First heard of the drive from Avland (www.avland.co.uk) and they're in Coventry.

But, if you want to be sure then try Dabs (www.dabs.com) - they've got a pick-up centre in Bolton.

I've ordered from Dabs many times before and they are 100% rock solid. When this drive comes out, I'll have no problem ordering from them again.
