webhost that doesnt suck?!??!?!

i know this is exactly the right forum for this, but in a way it is... my choice of free webhosts has just been deplorable, angelfire - popup ads, bandwith limit, utter, utter, utter CRAP.. anycities... SEEMED good to start but now i get a host failure when i try to connect to anycities.com WHAT THE HELL???? People are telling me they cant download my software or connect to my page and i cant even connect to anycities.com at all... this is terrible, there is no way i can afford to pay for a website and im really get sick of jumping around from one shitty host to another... any ideass???

Try www.unitedstateswebhost.com. I have been using it for a year now and have no complaints, though I do not have files to download on my page.

what do u expect of a free service....
free host sites use things like banners, popups. advertisement etc, etc to get money to support freeloaders like yourself (and me..ive been freeloadin on geocities for a lil bit now with my spruce site).

If u want a good host....bottom line you are gonna have to pay for it, sorry

Sure, you can take the long route, and check the 250 sites with links each to 250 hosts. That won't take any time :P web1000 is nice, but sure, if you want things like mysql and such... But the more you want for free... You'll end up wanting something better anyhow. Never tried gotoecom or doteasy.

They give you unlimited bandwith, unlimited diskspace, unlimited pop3 email accounts, unlimited FTP accounts, unlimited tech support, CGI, and more all with no pop ups or under ads Also they pay for your domain registration fees on sign up and every year after that! and one more nice feature they let you make two subdomains for free as well. The price 4.95 per month!! you have to pay for a year up front though, I understand this as the credit card company charge per use so at 4.95 per month they would have to pay 1.25 to the companies ...Set up was easy and quick and the host is pretty fast as well check out my site (link is in my sig) to see speed.
