Hi Gentlemen
I keep reading alot about Frame Serving in the forum and I have no idea how this works. Can someone explain how it is done "details please" and what are the benefits of frame serving. What are the best applications to use for this. I am using a Win98SE machine, 733MHZ Intel processor, 196MB of RAM with a small 4GB 5400RPM drive. Thanks in advance.

the benefits are that you don't need a huge hard drive to create a temporary avi when converting a movie, so with your 4gb drive this may be useful.
there is a guide for virtual dub on this site: http://www.vcdhelp.com/virtualdubframeserve.htm
