DivX Conversion

Can anyone help me with recent problems I have encountered converting DivX files to VCD . Up until recently everything had run smoothly but over the last few days Green Mile , About A Boy and Minority Report have all had major sync problems after I have converted them

Nothing much has changed with my methodology - extract WAV using Virtual Dub and then use TMGEnc to merge the WAV and video source

I have checked the source material and all the DivX files play perfectly . I have the Nimo codec pack loaded and am running XP

Can anyone help . Am I missing something obvious

PS since last night my POWERDVD crashes everytime I try and run a DIVX movie - the DIVXG400 codec seems to be the root of the problem - POWERDVD seems to be trying to use it and crashes before it can start the movie

If you're using the same About a boy DivX as I am, It has a VBR MP3 sound track that's messing things up. I'm gonna try following this guide when I get around to it...
