  1. Receive this error when trying to add an extracted mpeg to a new project

"GNU VCDImager only accepts/analyzes multiplexed program streams (video AND audio streams) and MPEG Stills"

Mpeg plays fine under WMP..... video and audio in sync.... any ideas?

  2. Just tried simple multiplexing with TMPGenc ... try to enter my mpeg file as a source fro either video/audio... receive error message "illegal Mpeg video stream" ... or "illegal Mpeg audio stream" Regular multiplex tab won't add the file at all... any ideas?

  3. After spending the last five hours... go over various programs and steps I finally found the best solution... Re-encoding with TMPGEnc only made the source look more pixelated even at the same bitrate... so I chucked that idea out the window... Finally I came across VCDgear... damn lifesaver is what it is... All it took was a quick check on Fix Errors box... and another under options menu to disable "split mpeg" feature and I had a copy of the original mpeg that looked the same, had no sync probs whatsoever, and it VCDeasy would finally accept the damn thing...
Highly recommend this tool as I could have saved 6+ hours fidgeting for 2 min time of decoding/converting.....

Hey chocco - Good on you for having the decency to post your solution for others too see. It's a shame that so many others don't do this... Much kudos to you.
