Hi, All.
After a three week break while we move house, I've just tried encoding a batch of DV type I files to DVD MPEG2 using CCE. Nothing has changed on the encoding side, but the output is now full of brightly coloured block artefacts, especially where the picture is "flat", such as the sky. The file is still DVD compliant, but it's like watching the footage through a kaleidoscope.
Recent change: PCI Raid card (striped).
Changes since last good DVD: Install HuffyUV, XP patch for MSP and house move.
Anyone got any ideas?
Gareth
p.s. Mediastudio (where I do my editing) now also seems to be permanently set to DV audio (I export PCM), in case that helps.
