  1. Ok ill try to explain this as easy as possible. I have been downloading serval movies off the net which are dvd divx rips. I want to take that .avi file and convert it to a dvd. I am wandering this because I used TMPGenc for one movie and selected the options in there for a dvdr. It took a while to encode and when I was finished making it into a .mpg I used Ulead DVD movie maker. Is this the only way to go from .avi to .mpg for dvd use?

Also do I need to use virtual dub to rip the audio in 48000? Then go to TMPGEnc and encode it from there.

I'm just a little confused right now an all of the steps that I need to do and the steps that are optoinal.

    Thanks

Since you already have the AVI file, use TMPGEnc. Load TMPGEnc Plus registered if your regular TMPGEnc is older than 14 days. Open the program, close the wizard if it opens. Load the DVD template with the Load function.

Select Start. The resultant file is ready for burning.
