    With a system that the DVD player and the TV support both format, how much different are progressive vs interlace ?

    Some posts claim that on direct view TV that you can hardly tell if you have digital filter and noise reduction on.

    Is this like Computer monitors that fast scan rate only give you slightly better contrast ?
