  1. Hi all,

This is my first post so sorry if it is in the wrong post. Basically i am using a WinTV PVR 250 to record at 480x480 MPEG2 2520CBR 224CBR black and white television show. Whenever i edited this file to remove commercials with TMPGenc i get out of sync audio. So then i started to use Ulead DVD Workshop to edit and it does a pretty decent job no out of syncs.

Next I want to De-multiplex and use TMPGenc Plus to re-encode the video and sound(by tooLAME. What should i use to De-multiplex? What settings should i use to reencode the video in TMPGenc Plus to make it a Good Black and White SVCD slightly below 400Megs with 128Kbps Sound(it is an old show, and sound was not that great anyways)? Should I do VCD(it just seems very blocky)? And Finally what should I use to Multiplex the two so that I do not get out of sync audio?

    THANK YOU for your time.

    James

Use TMPGEnc, close the wizard if it opens. Go to Options--Environmental Settings--External tool. Check "Layer 2" and use the Browse function to find the TooLame.exe file.

Load the file that has the commercials edited out. Use the Load function to load the template you need. Select Setting-->Advanced tab. Select Source Range-->Audio Gap Correct. Select Start.
    Hello.
