  1. Hello everyone,

What is the easiest way to burn a .m2v and .wav file that I have to a DVD-R and make it play on my standalone dvd player?

I dont need any chapters or menus.

I have DVDMaestro v2.9 and TMPEng and all the other smaller progs (infedit).

Rename the audio file to anything.mpa if it is named anything.mp2

Cant I just use a .wav?

  3. Why would you want to. Convert your wav to .mp2 with one of may encoders. TmpGenc will do it, toolame, Besweet etc. Tmpgenc is probably the easiest to use. DVD's support PCM audio (assuming that is wht youv wav file contains) but it takes up loads of room on the disk so in many respects compressed audio is better.

If you really want to use wav, most commercial authoring apps will support it. Just get one, import tour video and audio and set it to firats play. Hit the 'build' button or whatever and wait.

  4. DVD Workshop will do it if you have the version 1.3 patch installed. Just add the video file to your project and then select the wav file as the alternate sound track.

    You could always use spruceup.
