  2. First, get asfrecorder. (use google to find it!)
Second, right click on the link and select properties. Somewhere on this dialog you should see the full link to the movie. Cut and paste it to asf recorder URL window and it will download and save the movie for you.

Asfrecorder 1.1 doesn't work for ALL movies/sites for asf or wmv format (i.e. Launch -I had to watch "dirrty" in slo mo, frame by frame ;-p ) Anyway 2 tools.
    search on google
    1. URL Snooper install it launch it and play the video. eventually you will see the real url of the .wmv or .asf

    2. Trusty ole Graphedt.exe If you're going to deal with streaming media on a Windows platform you're gonna have to learn to use it
a Under file click on render url and put the address obtained from URL Snooper in.
b Look at the graph and delete the render file filters for direcvt show sound device and video render
c Insert a direct show filter to either avi mux and another to file write for an uncompressed avi and connect the pins or insert the asf writer and connect the audio and video pins.
d click on the green play icon and enjoy.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about look for a guide on Graphedt on doom9.org Trust me, I got really tired of asfrecorder and Streambox VCR choking on Launch.com especially and I have'nt had graphedt fail yet.
