  1. Just wanted to share this deal with you all. For those interested in getting Adobe Premiere 6.5 for less than $240 usd, check this out:

    http://www.dv-gear.com/digital-video-capture-card/pyro-platinum-dv.htm

I just received the product from them today, and it does come with Adobe Premiere 6.5 shrink-wrapped with manual! It also comes with DVD Workshop SE, which I think is probably a special or limited edition, and also Boris Factory, which I've never heard of. Oh yeah, and it also comes with the firewire PCI card.

Considering how much this stuff costs separately, I think it's a bargain!

(P.S. not sure if I'm allowed to post this here, but if not, then moderator will remove. But I just thought this was too good of a deal to keep to myself!)

Good deal. Is it full retail with box?

  4. It's not full retail with box, but it is a bundle package that is shrink-wrapped. I just opened it, and it comes with a training CD, and a thick instruction manual. I noticed the thick manual is for 6.0, but it includes a "supplementary" manual for 6.5.. kind of like an add-on, I guess. This is all in the same box as the main product, which is a firewire PCI card.

    The manufacturer link is:

    http://www.adstech.com/products/PYROPlatinumDV(PCI)/intro/API530intro.asp?pid=API-530-W

The package I got includes the full 6.5 version, and it is not an upgrade.
