Just got a cd with a film encoded in Xvid format.
I would like to play it on my standalone dvd so want Svcd format.
When i try it in tmpgenc the playback is jerky on my dvd but ok on the pc.
The Xvid is in ntsc but usually I don`t have a problem with that it plays ok.
Any help would be great
Thanx![]()

It might be a framerate problem, did you chose the template according to your source file's framerate? XviD tends to produce choppy Mpegs if different template is chosen - the best bet is to convert the framerate BEFORE loading your file into TMPGEnc. That's, of course, if the problem IS framerate.
