  1. I'm tyrying to convert a 33min file into a Svcd using Tmpgenc. I constructed the video using ado Premiere 6.0 and saved it using the MiroVideo DC30 M-Jpeg[16]. When I try convert it using Tmpgenc all I get it a blank screen with audio. What can I do to get it to work.

Try frameserving the video directly to TMPG using AviSynth.

  3. I'm trying to keep the frame rate at 29.97. Plus when I fileserve it to Tmpgenc with avisynth it freezes.
I've tryed another codec, divx, but it leaves it with too many artifacts.

    How about,,,

    1) options/environment settings/VFAPI plug-in/
    2) and then right-click the AVI field and select "Higher priority"
(try both the AVI fields) till it works. Useusally, i keep selecting
(right-clicking) the AVI field till it goes to the top, and then
proceed to encode video. (you should begin seeing the avi file
display in TMPGEnc's window - hopefully)**
    3) let us know if it worked!!

** I use the dc10+ mjpeg card, and this happens to me too.
After doing the above steps, I can see my avi video in the window
and proceed to encode. Should work for you!

    Later.
