    Can anyone tell me how to get Graphedit (without crashing) to work
    in windows XP ?

    Uninstall XP? I'm sure XP is wonderful, but for maximum compatibility working with video, I think you would be better off with '98(SE).

    I use Graphedit on Win XP Often with no problems so it can't be XP, Your ploblem must lie elsewhere

    Make SURE you defrag your target HDD when extracting. I ran into huge problems when trying to write to a 180 GB drive that was 60% fragmented (my fault, I know!)

    Same job ran without a problem after defragging the HDD.
