    Help please...
I installed a video capture card but the sound wont capture.. I try researching the problem on the internet.. the only help I found said this:

"..First, check that you aren't missing the pass-through. Most video capture cards don't have on-board sound capture and instead use your sound card, so if you don't connect the cable from the capture board to the sound input, you won't get any sound."

OK, so can anyone tell me WHAT CABLE to WHAT SOUND INPUT??
I think this is a basic instalation question that someone here can answer.

I am trying to do this for a friend, I told her to post her problem here, but she got no replies.. Hopefully I am asking the question clearly

The card she bought is a LGV-5480TVR
I could find no info on the internet about it, but a picture of the card and its specifications are shown here:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2067488385

I know this is a cheap card, but she will only be doing some very basic video capture with it and it should serve her purpose just fine if only the sound capture could be configured.

Would really appreciate anyones help on this.

If it's anything like mine, it's just a short (1/8" plug?) cable that connects your capture card to your sound card input (line in). Some folks just skip it and plug directly into their sound card....
