Hi,
I am running Pinnacle v8 to create DVDs from my home-made videos. I want to add subtitles to the scenes, but in different languages like you can select on commercial DVDs.
I want to leave the audio (from people's mouths...) unchanged, so no multiple audio streams.
Anyone out there who knows what software is required to achieve this, if not Pinnacle?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Rob

Just refreshing the question to bring it under your attention...
I am really wondering what software would allow to create these multi-language subtitles as you have from commercial DVDs. Multiple languages are a common symptom we have to deal with here in Europe.
TIA

Rob,
I am curiously watching your post from last week, as I will be coming up against the same situation. I have ordered Pinnacle 8 and will be making DVD's in multiple languages as well. Hopefully, someone else on this forum has some experience that will help us. -
Hi Squero,
still no response received from the forum ... Seems like only single-language people are interested in making DVDs ?
Anyhow, in parallel I was notified about the existence of "ReelDVD" from Sonic. It allows indeed multi-language subtitling like professional or commercial DVDs, but the package costs roughly 400 US$ !!
I am curious to know about any other more economic solution ...
