  1. I am having problems using DVDecrypter, does anyone know of a guide to help. When I rip a DVD, and then play back on a stand alone DVD, I only get half the film. What should the settings be so I can get all the film.

    Thanx

  2. dude, read the guides here! you could always try smartripper or clad to rip as well.

  3. I have tried using smartripper, and it is ok for 1 or 2 disks, then when I try to create an AVI with DVD2AVI, it doesn't want to recognise it, or if it does TMPGEnc wont convert the file.

  4. somethings going wrong in your process then I would have thought! I have ripped allot of dvd's and whenever I get a bug/glich/problem ripping it has always been because of user error. You'll be surprised!

try to have the least amount of programs running whilst you rip (although if you have a good enough processor (p3 900 or higher) it shouldn't matter). Keep your hdd's well defraged. Use a seperate hdd if you have one availble.

  5. Specs are:

AMD 2000, 2 x 120 Gig HDs (80 gig free), 796meg Ram, the only other thing running is TMPGenc and Win 2k. I am doing it the same way every time, sometimes works some times doesn't, hence I started DVDecrypter.
