Hi I am trying to capture menu screens from powerdvd using print screen, but I just keep getting black screens when I paste into adobe. Why ?

You're unable to take a screenshot because direct3d is drawing the movie as an overlay above your desktop... the movie isn't actually being displayed in the normal environment that other applications are drawn in. Most DVD apps have a built in function to take screens. Not sure if I'm correct on this (don't use PowerDVD), but if I remember right, there should be a camera button that you can push, and I think the keyboard shortcut is simply pushing "C". You should be able to configure somewhere in the setup where the screencaps go to.
