Is video source quality good(garbage in - garbage out)? What is the source?
Are you creating VCD,SVCD or DVD?

We need information to be able to help.

  3. If it's MPG1, open the file in TMGENC, click on file->mpg tools, merge and cut. Load the mpeg file, and select the appropriate file type in the top of the window (VCD, VCD non-standard, etc. This is THE most important part), and save the file with a different name. TMEPCG will demux and remux the file and will add the correct headers.

I had this exact same problem a few months ago and this is how I solved it.

  4. romu,

    I will try that tonight.

The source is not very good quality but does not have the described problem. I am creating a DVD movie.

  5. Nay, it is garbage in garbage out problem.
    Re-muxing it won't help.

It is same as a scratch LP problem.

  6. If the source does not have the problem, the output shoud not. If it's a random problem that occurs only when playing on a standalone dvd player, it indicates a problem the file headers.

    The solution should work.
