I capture a 15 min clip with Virtualdub and a dazzle usb. I used huffy codec and the avi was 1.69 gigs. If I take the file and encoded it with Tmpgenc, when I play it back it get a noise like the sound is already too loud and there is a static echo. I lowered the volume meter in Virtualdub, but I get the same thing. I download a vhs filter (cause I'm capturing from vhs tapes) I tinkered with the noise reduction and all, but I still get the same effect. The original capture though doesn't have that Static echo. I took the mpeg I had encoded with TMPGEnc,demuxed the audio, converted it to wav, and tried to re-encode it that way. Still the samePlease help out.
