ok i am converting a 300,000 kb file and when i first started it said that it only had about an hour to go, but then I played Warcraft online which I know I know slows it down, but after I quit and just minimized it on my screen and left the room and came back like 4 hours later it didn't look like it made in progress so I brought it back up and watched it and it made more progress in about 15 mins of me watching it then it did when I had it minimized for 4 hours, but it still says it needs 5 hours!!! Is there anyway to speed it up? and I don't have any other applications open other then explorer when I check for replies. Thanks in advance!

Just abort the encoding and start again - if you don't do anything else on your PC it should finish it in just over an hour like it first said. In general - the faster your PC and more RAM the faster encoding.

If you really wanna play WC3, you could increase the process priority of the prog that is converting the file, but then that might make your WC3 crash...

dude start the encode and leave ur comp alone for an hour or 2 and then it will finish no prob but when u run other things like games and shit that burns inot ur ram and slows the encode (this shoulda been a no brainer)
