    how can i rip a dvd to one mpg file without any menus and extras???????

    You can't rip a DVD tp .mpg,by default it will be a .vob,which is an .mpg.
    Rip with Smartripper. In option select "as one large file",it will rip the whole dvd as one file. To eliminate all extras select Stream Rip. Uncheck every stream except the video anf the first audio stream.
