help authoring and burning a simple mpg to dvdr

does anyone know the easiest way i could burn a mpg file without menus and extras staight to a dvdr playable on all dvd players???

You will still need an authoring program. Just import your mpeg into the authoring proam of your choice and set to '1st play'. Export/burn whatever and the dvd-r will simply play the movie when inserted in to your DVD player.
