Hi all,
I am trying to input audio/video from an analog camcorder into my computer for editing. I then want to output the edited audio/video in analog format to record back onto tape. So, I don't need any fancy capture card with built-in hardware compression as the video will be more than likely edited in an uncompressed format.
What is the best capture card to do this with?
Also, will the analog output stream have macrovision problems when I record it with a VCR?
I've been looking at the Pinnacle Studio AV, but it's a bit expensive and I don't need the software (plus I'm not sure if it has the outputs that I need). Also, either S-Video or RCA would work just fine as I/O.
Any help is much appriciated!
