Remote control... long distance!!!

Hi guys.

I want to be able to controle my "media player" or anu other palyer over my house! it´s about 3 rooms away from my TV...

Do any one know of a solution to this??? some kind of mouse??? some kind of remote????

Hi.
Im using a system with a media sender and reciever.
The sender has a video in signal (composit) and sound this is transmitted
via radio to the reciever. You connect the reciever to your Tv.
An added bonus with this system is that the Reciever will relay all IR
signals to the Transmitters IR out (witch you point at your tv or vcr or whatever)

The system im using is called Stealth i have no clue who makes them...
