my generic vcd player has no problem playing CDRs. before i use to create my own VCDs burned at 4X and all played well.
after i got my new writer which burns at 48X, i tried creating the same movies at 12X. now, my player has a hard time reading the VCD discs i created. what could be the problem? my CDRs speed is 1-32X. pls advise on what could have gone wrong.
should i try burning on a lower speed? say 4-8X?
btw, i forgot to tell, the VCDs play in my PC but not in the standalone player.

not necessary that lower speed will work. sometime you might have to bump up your burner speed to 16 or 24x. I'd suggest you try with both 4/8x and 16/24x.
