Hi. I am trying to burn a DVD+R. I created a .img file using ImgTools. The image file created is 4.3 Gigs. I burned it to DVD+R, using DVD Decrypter, and it fit, but when I put it into my HP DVD200i burner, Windows says it is inacessable. So I tried to load it in PowerDVD and it says it is an unkown file type. I tested the .img file with DAEMON tools before I burned it and it worked fine. I looked on the forum and saw that DVD Decrypter does not finalize the disk and that that might be my problem. The forums said that Nero could finalize a disk if it registered the disk as blank (It reads my disk as blank even though the image was burned to it) by writing another file to it and then it would finalize after. I tried doing this in Nero but it says that there is not enough free space on the disk to write to it. Now I decided that I wouldn't use the .img file and would instead just write the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder using Nero and skip making an image in IMGTools. Now when I try to burn Nero says that my disk has insufficient free space on it. I am using a blank 4.7 Gig DVD+R and all the files in the VIDEO_TS folder are 4.17 Gigs in size. I also tried another VIDEO_TS folder I need to burn that is only 3.9 Gigs in size. My question is shouldn't these files in the VIDEO_TS folders fit on a disk? I thought it should fit and give the go ahead as long as they were under 4.3 gigs. They should fit since the same files were used to make the .img file, and that fit on a disk. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any help or advice you can give.
