    I am downloading some Seinfeld episodes and they are in divx pro (5.02)format..(352x240--29.970)

    I want to convert them to VCD.

    When I open the file in TMPG it says the in the expert settings that the source is 4:3 525 line NTSC..

    Does TMPG autmatically detect this>?

    Reason I ask is most of the files I download state the format is 1:1 VGA..

    Should I change this?

    No. Source aspect ratio is always 1:1(VGA) if you are dealing with a DivX.
