DVD X 2.0 and the Movie Spiderman

Ok I have been using dvdx for a while now and have not had a problem with it until I tried to encode the 2002 movie spiderman when you convert it to vcd 1.0 the play back is jared and the sound is skiped every 5 secs or so this prob also happens with the DVD Movie Enuff!!! can any one help or do I have to use another converter (note with the same settings other movies come out fine Exp. DVD "Sum of all fears")
Me specs are Win Xp pro p3/1.1ghz 512 Ram x32dvd ram!!

Can any one help?

I have had the same problems with that movie and the Cowboy bebop collection. I have not had this problem before with other movies. I've used two comuters one with a P4 1.67 and PII both WINXP with 512 ram.

I have had problems using both Smartripper and DVD Decrypter to get the .vob files for a Divx conversion. How did you get the movie to rip?

also ripped the movie using smartripper 2.41 under xp (celeron 1Ghz, 256 mbram)...

i just figured out how it works.
as mentioned, i ripped movie with SmartRipper to HD first. (whole movie)
here's the settings for dvdx 2.0
INPUT:
- Audiotrack: Engl. AC3 6ch
- 44.1 kHz no conversion
- Output Framerate: 24 Hz
- detect progress. 24 Hz
- force 24 Hz
- iDCT: FPU (Best Quality)
- A/V sync. OFF!

OUTPUT SETTINGS:
- anything should work (i tried PAL-VCD & DivX+Lame 192kB/s)

...well actually you'll have to sync the sound to the video otherwise there will be an increasing delay...
