help needed urgent

trying to change regions and turn off macrovision but on my remote i cant find the "next" and "previous" buttons what do they look like .none of them are named so what ones are they................

thanks figured it out i could not get the secret menu because i had to use the disc(firmware)first.
but in the secret menu there is an option to turn of css what is this (protection or what)

Hello , I hope you were successful in loading the firmware
I was able to access the "secret workshop menu" This allows you to make the player multi-region before or after loading the firmware but no problem. As of yet I am not sure if I have disabled the macrovision
I tried to record a dvd onto vhs tape and it was varying in quality as if the macrovision was still active.

I seem to remember reading a posting somewhere which said if you dont know what an option is please leave well alone but I would welcome any comments
