Smart Ripper does not seem to rip the main movie, just one of the features. How can I ensure it rips the correct bit? :P

  2. you can't....i believe smartripper assumes that the largest vob sets is the main movie (i'm not sure...but that's wut it seems)

i.e. pearl harbor DVD disc 2, smartripper assumed one of the behind-the-scenes was the main movie file prolly because it was bigger than the movie file.

I have never seen Smartripper make a mistake selecting the main movie. It's information box tells you the length of the movie it has selected,if you know the length of the movie, select that length. Why would anyone want to rip Pearl harbor. It is without doubt the worst movie ever made. They turned one of the greatest events in American history into a bad, trite, love story.

    1) well, in the case of pearl harbor dvd disc 2, smartripper DID make a mistake in selecting the main movie file...most likely because it is part 2 of the movie and is shorter than some of the behind-the-scenes stuff....however, yes..you can look at the length and choose the right set of vobs (i only mentioned that smartripper made a mistake when automatically choosing the main movie files)

    btw..i've seen worse movies
